There are many national programmes for children and their health, but not so much for adults. Adults often sit the whole working day and while travelling – after-work activities do not always compensate for this inactivity resulting problems arise with physical and mental health. It was necessary to start shaping the mindset, how to organize working day to be more active and also make exercising outdoors more accessible for everybody, no matter how experienced you are or what are your physical limits.

What was the value of having transnational peers in Healthy Boost project?

Peer city was a comfortable shoulder to cry on when being stuck with the processes especially regarding the activities related to project management but also when carrying out pilot activities. A peer city was good colleague to discuss when preparing project outputs and someone to test the materials on (how to collect best practices). They gave us valuabel feedback as well as certainty of being on the right track.
